WingNuts 2 takes all of the action and wacky humor of the original and adds a compelling new story, gorgeous graphics, and tons of gameplay enhancements.

WingNuts 2 is a showcase for the graphics power of the Mac. Utilizing spectacular OpenGL particles and CoreImage time dilation effects, the game provides over 30 levels of aerial excitement. Upgrade your plane with more powerful weapons and capture wild power-ups like 'Super Mecha-Mode' and 'Escort Wing' to defeat the Baron's terrifying robotic bosses.

Ian Lynch Smith, President of Freeverse, has said: 'This is the biggest game to be written specifically for the Mac in years. Targeting just the Mac means no performance compromises (and lower system requirements)- and we can design in cool OS X specific technologies like CoreImage and iSight integration.'

Smith went on to say, 'We've worked really hard on this game and think it looks spectacular, especially on new MacBooks.' WingNuts 2 is a Universal application so it will run natively on all new Intel Macs. System requirements include 800 MHz G4 or better, 32 MB of Vram, 512 MB of Ram, and 950 MB of hard drive space.

The full game is available today as an electronic download and will be available in July on MAC-DVD. WingNuts 2: Raina's Revenge, is priced at only $29.95. A demo of WIngNuts 2 is available for download from Macgamefiles.com.

A free demo version of Blue Skies is now available. The Lite version of Blue Skies contains 7 of the 30 levels found in the game.

Blue Skies is a top-down 2D helictoper shooter that’s more or less a cross between Will Wright’s classic Raid on Bungeling Bay and Freeverse’s Wingnuts Temporal Navigator. The player pilots an accelerometer controlled helicopter across 30 search-and-destroy missions facing enemy tanks, planes, helicopters, blimps, and mines. Powerups and cash are acquired by destorying enemy vehicles.

Accumulated cash can be used to purchase more advanced weapons from the home base R&D shop. We of the game to be a fun and simple shooter. The full version has since seen a price drop to $5.99 and the developer has been quite active with many new features coming in version 2.0.
