Hi there, whenever I try to burn any data into a DVD I get the “Illegal disc” error. I’m new with this problem because just days ago my burner worked without any trouble. I have a SONY DVDRW DW-U18A.

I have the UFS1 firmware version, already changed it to UYS1 and UYS4 with LtnFW software, and as soon as I update it, the tray doesn’t open anymore, so I changed it back to UFS1 and still get the Illegal disc error all the time. What can I do? Is there another firmware out there that works with my DVD burner? Please help me, I use my burner almost everyday and now my PC seems to be useless without it. Thank you in advance.
