If you need access to local computing resources (such as printers, thumb drives, local hard drives, etc.), then install Citrix Receiver on each computer that you will use to access BC Apps. The Citrix Receiver must be installed on each computer you want to use BC Apps on. Go to:. Click Download Receiver for Mac. A file called CitrixReceiverWeb.dmg will download to your computer. Open CitrixReceiverWeb.dmg & follow the prompts to install it.

When prompted, check Add Account, then click Continue ( see Figure 1). When prompted, log in with your BC username and password. If you have previously used BC Apps on Citrix Receiver using this device, follow the steps in the next section to remove the legacy Citrix account. To view the available applications, click APPS. Select the application you want to open. The app opens in a separate tab and you may begin working. Note: When you click to open a second app, a window will pop up and disappear.

The second app will appear in the same tab as the first app. If you get a message saying there is no storage space available, log out & log back in again. (on AppsStorage.bc.edu).

Hi folks, I'm having some torubles using my corporate Citrix XenApp facility. I can connect to our the XenApp corporate website, and once I'm logged in a list of applications is displayed. However, when I click on any of them, nothing happens, meaning that the Citrix Receiver software doesn't get loaded. However, everything is working fine on Mozilla Firefox, for example. I'm running on Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks, latest updates installed, with Safari 7.0.1. I wouldn't say it's a matter of plugins since I've already tried disabling them all.

Using the 'private' mode doesn't seem to be a solution, either. I've already tried runing in 32-bit mode, to no avail. Finally, I've already done a full cleaning on the stored data from my Safari cache. That one didn't changed anything, too Is anyone experiencing the same issue? I've done some research, but I was unable to find a solution to my problem, even if I noticed that I don't think I'm the only one scratching his head on Safari and Citrix.

Hi folks, I'm new to Citrix Receiver but seem to be having similar or related issues maybe. I log onto the XenApp page of the corporate portal (data management system in my city for a social service) and I 'see' the Citrix Receiver start up, the app loads, then a message about 'degraded video' to one display (fine, I'm using dual displays), a quick 'flash' of what I think is the app screen. Clicking the app again generates the horrible 'You already have an instance running' error so I know the receiver is running. But I can't access it. Firefox is the same. Same issue even in BootCamp for Windows 7 Ultimate.
