Animation 1: Beach Ball (Ball #3 - third attempt, with a little wind) This was an animation I created for my Animation 1 class. This was my third attempt. I didn't put any squash and stretch on because if my memory serves me, I didn't recall any squash on a beach ball unless it wasn't fully inflated or had a high velocity when hitting the ground.

UPDATE: 2013. I created this over a year ago and I must say it is not my best work, but I am keeping it up on Vimeo because it is part of my website blog. Go to for more info. The feedback I received was that it still needed a bit of squash, and after I watched it a few times, I had to concur. I liked my second attempt, with the strong gust of wind, better than this one. This project was completed in Maya 2012.
